Only eat one meal a year

Life is busy – we have more to do and less time in which to do it. Many of us will spend about three hours a day eating food. That’s wasted time. It works out to about 45 days of eating.

What if we could rather allocate one day in the year to eat – 24 hours of solid eat, eat, eat! Get nice and full and then save ourselves the wasted time and energy throughout the rest of the year.

Sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it?

But I see this trend in communication all the time. People don’t like (are busy, overwhelmed, tired, bombarded, confused, frustrated, or stretched too thin) to read… we need to keep communication short, simple and frequent. It keeps things digestible and achievable.

Regular communication, just like regular meals, is CRUCIAL for healthy living, healthy relationships and healthy decision-making. Sometimes we’re ready for a smoothie, other times we want to have a big pasta.

If you’re a financial planner, sometimes your clients just want to know they’re okay, and other times they want to know the intricate development of their investment portfolio. If you want to discern their appetite, you need to be joining them for regular meals.
